The Poker Face singer has taped an episode of the hit teen series, but she’s insists her performance is not a typical cameo - because she was determined to use her time on TV to make an artistic statement.

She explains, “I hate TV series performances, because they kind of come in out of nowhere, and everyone’s, like, really into the story, and then all of a sudden somebody breaks into song. And it has nothing to do with the storyline, and then it screws everything up. I really sat down with the writers. I was like, ‘Look, I want to do this, and the reason I want to do this is because I am trying to say something that is not mainstream in a mainstream capacity. So, if I can say it on your show, that would be, like, a real coup d’etat for me as a performance artist.’”

And she’s convinced fans will be delighted with the end result, which she describes as a “crazy performance-art piece”.

She adds, “I am the narrator behind what is going on with the characters and make the song part of the moment. We used these ladders, and I’m falling off ladders. Ladders are kind of a monster symbol about bad luck. And I have this 35-foot-long dress on and these X’s, very gothic-inspired. It was great. They let me do whatever the hell I wanted. It was amazing.”

Two days ago, the Golden State Warriors agreed to a trade with the Charlotte Bobcats that sent disgruntled captain Stephen Jackson and Acie Law for the Bobcats offensively inept Raja Bell and Vladimir Radmanovic. Here I'll pause and let the madness sink in. First, the Warriors were so determined to unload one of the destroyers the most selfish team in the NBA that they were ready to take VladRad and injured Raja Bell.Secondly, the Bobcats somehow felt that getting rid of one of their grittiest defensive players (Bell) would make sense, if in return they got a guy whose record is littered with aggression, greed, and turnover. Currently, everyone remembers Jackson for his work in the Golden State - that is, by signing a contract worth several million dollars with a bad team, then upset the team was bad (see Allen Iverson). But Jackson is far more than just fool's most recent transgression.I lived in Northern California when the Warriors acquired "Jack", when the team tried to be stronger in discharging the soft, mushy bellies of Troy Murphy and Mike Dunleavy. Even when she seemed to be a dangerous action: Jackson had been involved in fighting the ugliest in the history of the NBA, and a miserable night with his teammates, and he made love to Warriors fans (although somewhat more later) getting a tattoo offseason praying hands holding a revolver. Oh, and do not forget Jackson arguing money with the Spurs in San Antonio after playing a nice role for them in a championship race.What is the Over / Under the time Jackson makes under Larry Brown? The Bobcats may be bad now, but at least they are quiet bad.
